Accessibility
Insura should work for everyone who drives, or is about to.
Last updated September 30, 2026. This is a starter document written for launch. It should be reviewed by qualified legal counsel before it is relied on for compliance.
Our target
Insura aims to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. The site has not yet been independently audited, so we do not claim full conformance.
What we've built in
- Semantic headings, landmarks and a skip link on every page
- Every form field has a visible label, and errors are described in text and announced to screen readers
- Full keyboard operation with a visible focus indicator
- Touch targets of at least 44 pixels in the calculator and navigation
- Text contrast designed to meet AA
- Animation is reduced when your device asks for reduced motion
- Charts carry text equivalents, and meaning is never conveyed by color alone
